The weekend before classes started, we went to visit Glendalough, which is a valley of the Wicklow Mountains. It was absolutely breathtaking! Everything was so green and we even got a chance to see a reindeer! The two lakes were beautiful, and we managed to get some steps in while enjoying scenic views. There was also a sheepdog demonstration, where a shepherd showed us how his dog is trained to gather his sheep. The sheep industry is huge in Ireland as well as other livestock. Our tour guide was very entertaining as well and it was great to see how much he loves showing people this amazing country.
