First Few Days

I landed on Monday, September 1st and settled in my apartment right in the city of Dublin, Ireland. It's still taking me a while to get used to living here and to get over the jet-lag, but I'm having such an amazing time. We've mostly been going through orientation and on our second day, we went out on a city tour. Because Dublin is a very old city, it's full of rich history. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly! I learned a lot about what happened during the viking civilization, the medieval times, and how horribly women were mistreated from the medieval period until the 1900s. It was a huge information overload, but I really enjoyed walking around knowing that so much has happened in the city where I'm currently studying! Hopefully, I'll get the chance to go on more history and sight-seeing tours.
